why does the photons pass through a 1 cm glass easy & can’t pass through 1 mm iron ?
note that the 1 cm glass is a high density but the photons can be seen easly through it but the 1 mm iron don’t let the photons to pass through .
Glass doesn’t have a difference of electron quantum states whose energy matches that of a photon in the human visible spectrum. Most photons pass on through without interacting with the matter. You’ll need to study quantum physics for more details.
